2023 / My Spirit, My Country : Indigenous Fashion Runway

“My Spirit, My Country” is a fashion runway celebrating Global Indigenous fashion. International fashion designers will showcase their collections on a runway divided into four big islands, each representing the world’s continents and centred around the elemental forces of Water, Earth, Fire, and Air. The goal is to create an immersive experience beyond fashion, with performances and entertainment that highlight the beauty and richness of Indigenous cultures worldwide, a celebration of creativity, diversity, and the spirit of our shared planet. The success of this project depended on a true collaboration between artists, designers, and musicians, as well as a respectful partnership with Indigenous communities and experts, to ensure that the representation of their cultures was accurate and authentic.
